The Worldwide Short Film Festival, which takes place in various venues throughout Toronto June 1 to 6, announced its program this week, including its genre-friendly Midnight Madness programming. The MM portion will be divided into two thematic segments — “Creepy,” to screen June 4; and “Freaky,” to screen June 5. (Both programs run at the Cumberland Cinema.)
Among the films to screen (in the Freaky section):
Prince of Milk (2009)
Makoto kills himself after being sexually humiliated by a pack of schoolgirls. This leads to the rising of a serial killer who makes quick and messy work of these girls. Includes a song-and-dance number apparently.
And in Creepy:
Chloe and Attie (2009)
The “10 out of 10″ shout-out by Uwe Boll in the trailer is perhaps less impressive than the producers think, but Chloe and Attie, about Chloe keeping a secret hidden in the dark away from all living things, looks suitably creepy.
