EXCLUSIVE 35 MM PRINT! DAY OF THE DEAD TO SCREEN TOMORROW IN TORONTO

Toronto’s Cinematheque will be screening a 35 mm print of George A. Romero’s third “Dead” film, 1985’s Day of the Dead, sourced by programmer Colin Geddes. It’s part of the Cinematheque’s tribute to the recently deceased Robin Wood, an influential film critic who championed Day at the time of its release, something few mainstream critics did. Romero, who lives in Toronto, will be providing a video introduction. It’s a rare opportunity to see it on a big screen so avail yourself of the opportunity. The screening will take place at 9:15 pm at Jackman Hall at the Art Gallery of Ontario (317 Dundas St. W.).
