Was it $4000 well-spent? Fans of lo-fi cinematic dementia will find out tomorrow (Oct. 19) when notorious low-budget filmmaker Bill Zebub’s 2006 doll epic “Dolla Morte” gets a DVD release via Wild Eye Releasing.

According to the press release: “DOLLA MORTE pits the President of the United States against Dracula in a battle to suck all the blood out of humanity, kill the pope, and crucify as many beautiful women as possible, all on orders from Adolph Hitler and his army of killer robots!” Oh, and did we mention that the entire film is done with dolls? The release also boasts that Dolla Morte “makes Robot Chicken look like tofu,” which I don’t get, but I guess it means it’s more offensive and contains less soy.
